Union Station-Omaha

Omaha is a pretty fun place. My mom and I only spent one day there on our way back from Wyoming, but I would say that it's a city that has a lot to offer. While we were there, we stopped in to check out Union Station. Not gonna lie, the main reason we stopped there was because I read online that there was an old-fashioned soda fountain. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that there was also a really interesting museum.

Even without the soda fountain and museum, Union Station would be worth a visit. It is beautiful!

But...since we were here, we took advantage of the situation.

 Yum!

After some refreshment, we enjoyed a little history. Part of the museum is set up as old-time shops and houses. My favorites were the general store and the hospital displays.

 So glad nursing has evolved!

There were also a lot of great train displays. I don't know a whole lot about trains, but even so, I enjoyed it.
